All about Sassy Snackers

Hi! I’m Lindy Hall — founder, owner, baker, decorator, taste tester, professional mess maker, and the face behind Sassy Snackers!

And believe it or not, Sassy Snackers becoming a cookie business started with brain surgery.

After having brain surgery, I woke up and almost immediately announced that I wanted to start making cookies.

Cookies.

Apparently THAT was my big post-brain-surgery revelation. 😂

I had never planned on becoming a cookie baker, but I like to think my guardian angel sent me a little message from above saying, “Girl, you’re supposed to make cookies.”

So… I listened.

I started teaching myself how to make custom decorated sugar cookies, and something just clicked. It felt natural. Before I knew it, I was creating cookies for birthdays, weddings, graduations, baby showers, businesses, celebrations and some of the biggest moments in people’s lives.

Then came the big, thick, ridiculously delicious bakery cookies — and Sassy Snackers found its sweet spot.

Today, I specialize in custom decorated sugar cookies and bakery-style cookies, all made with high-quality ingredients and a whole lot of personality.

Because around here, cookies are never “just cookies.”

Cookies are sitting on Grandma’s table at Christmas. They’re announcing a new baby. They’re celebrating a graduation, a wedding, a birthday or a new job. They’re sent to someone because you miss them, love them, are proud of them — or because they’re having a terrible week and carbohydrates are sometimes the appropriate response.

And if you’re an emotional eater like me, sometimes the special occasion is simply Tuesday. 😂

That’s what I love most about what I do. I get to create something that becomes a tiny part of someone else’s memory.

What started as a completely unexpected idea after brain surgery somehow turned into exactly what I feel like I was meant to be doing.
